The owner of Salty's Board Shop is relocating to an existing retail space on Devine Street. The goal of this project was to create a modern and relaxed enviroment with a storefront design that engages customers. Polished wood veneer strips reflect the character of early surfboard construction and are used to create a "tunnel" enclosure around the entry doors. A large glass roll-up door provides maximum visitility and allows the owner to "open up" the store to the pedestrian traffic along Devine Street.
